Curriculum Vitae

I was born in Porsgrunn, Norway at the 23th of July 1973. 1992-1995: studied electronic engineering at Telemark University College (www.hit.no) 1995-1996: Military service (I wouldn't really recommend it) 1996-1997: Studied computer science at Agder University College (www.hia.no) 1997-2006 (september): Worked as a programmer at Funcom (www.funcom.com) on various computer games. 2006(september)-2007(april): Took a sabbatical from work. 2007(april)-present: Working as a software consultant at Bouvet (www.bouvet.no).

BeerFinder robotics project

Since graduating, I have been working exclusively as a programmer. My original education was as an electronics engineer, so I've wanted to pick up my old hobby of robotics during my sabbatical. To have some sort of direction to my tinkerings, I have decided on making a robot that can fetch a beer from the fridge and bring it to the living-room. This behaviour should be triggered by a click on my HTPC remote control. For me, this is a very ambition goal, but it has several interesting sub-goals along the way.
